My life began in Newton Massachusetts. My first 16 years were a lot of fun. The next 3, A LOT of fun. I spent the next 10 years teaching and getting very spiritual (meditation, contemplation, long silent walks - the whole nine). I've spent the past 8 months creating HowAboutWe.com.
I sleep walk :)
Oh, you have no idea. I am a walking sleeve of Trivial Pursuit. I seem to have an uncanny ability to find the new unusual spots before the rest of civilization discovers it. It's more fun that way.
I grew up near San Francisco, which, if nothing else, has lead to my addiction to Peet's coffee. I have a cat named Kitty who lives with my parents and is without question a member of the family. I am a champion napper/snoozer/sleeper. I studied voice in college and sing basically everywhere, all the time, except for when I'm walking down the street. That's just crazy.
I never made it on stage for my preschool or kindergarten graduation. I was too scared to walk on so I sat in the corner of the stage and cried. I've been a star ever since.
my pair of stilts i hand-made/walk in
Walked aprox 3 miles to a private beach in Ecuador. We were accompanied by an amazingly large and sweet dog named Maax and some locals who gave us fresh passion fruit and tamarind. The beach was a beautiful blue. I loved watching the crabs walk funny. We swam with out our bathing suits.
Hmm....the very very first? The Beach Boys when I was 10 at the New York State Fair. Barring time travel, I'd say any show that costs $15 or less where some band I've never heard before makes me walk out saying "wow" so that 20 years from now I won't be sitting around saying, "I wish I had seen ________ back when..."
Luang Prabang, Laos -- to say it's paradise, doesn't give it justice. LP is a quaint and laid back city tucked away off the Mekong river and surrounded by mountains. Picture a parade of monks walking through a quiet french colonial city at dawn and listening to them chant at dusk as the sun is going down. It's memorizing.
Born in the warm embrace of American suburbia. Became a jaded teenager. Moved on to New York, discovered ability for fast-walking; lost some of the jadedness, keeping just enough to stay a New Yorker.
