How about we… take a stroll on the Riverwalk, away from all the touristy parts, where the breeze is cool, the birds sing, and we take in how beautiful the whole thing really is.
How about we… be touristy and take photos by the Bean.
How about we… go to that sort of touristy park by the water in dumbo and drink hot chocolate.
How about we… grab one of those "go-cart-2-seat-touristy-vehicles" and pace around town.
How about we… grab a bite to eat at somewhere super touristy where we'll have to wait in line for a long time and be forced into possibly awkward conversation.
How about we… do some touristy things in the City...
How about we… do touristy activities.
How about we… act as tourist in our own city and spend the day hitting all of the big touristy spots.
How about we… Hang-out in Lake Geneva's many fine "touristy" attractions.
How about we… Dress in I heart NY gear and take touristy pictures around the city.

Shiretoko National Park and the surrounding area in Hokkaido, Japan during the summer. I'm not a tree-hugger (I prefer hugging people), but the nature is beautiful up there— and it's also less touristy.
Trelawny, Jamaica....far from the luxury of the more "touristy" spots but breathtakingly beautiful nonetheless.
kinda cheesy but the touristy places up at cape ann north of boston
I like driving around Los Angeles to areas I haven't been or haven't seen for awhile. Many people think in order to get away from LA you need to travel out of state, well for me it can be achieved by visiting a part of LA you haven't before. Sometimes I like to house hunt in canyons or places with ocean views but not too touristy.
in the city, doing great New York things; then outdoors hiking, camping, etc.; then traveling to some non-touristy place. Someone who wants to be continuously learning new things.
Koh Jum (non-touristy Thailand island) Siem Reap, Cambodia, Gili Trawangen, Indonesia (perfect desert island island)
Rottenburg, Germany. It's an amazing little historical town in Germany, with most of the original Medieval wall in place. It's touristy, but walking the wall on a misty morning is pure magic.
Probably a day at the flea market, a beach, or some cheesy touristy town, a fancy dinner, and then watching a film at home with some wine.
Hainan, the island off the southern coast of China, for a look at real, not touristy, China.
Travel the world. But I wouldn't want to do touristy travel. I would want to go to places and truly experience their cultures. Kinda like Anthony Bourdain does on No Reservations.
