The boiling lake in Dominica, or Champagne Reef.
the longest time I have ever lived anywhere is 4 years; I love Montreal and I love food; I am curious; I am fascinated by rebel groups and traveled to Sudan to do field research on them; I am happy to be in New York but miss swimming in lakes :)
I've been to quite a few truly amazing places—mostly in the US, and mostly so obscure that they don't see much foot traffic. (I spent my summers backpacking and climbing as a kid.) One of the most amazing was a lake in the Spanish Peaks Wilderness in Montana. It was a natural wind-chime that made one of the most beautiful sounds vie ever heard in nature. If that doesn't cut it, I've also been to Alaska.
Awestruck by the beauty of Lake Tahoe and challenge of Yosemite my last trip. The Alhambra was unforgettable as was most of Spain. Some caribbean isles have added years to my life.
