I was born in Canada, moved to the States when I was 5 (although I'm still not an American citizen). My dad has lived in Taiwan for 11 years and I've spent a lot of time over there. I'm a pretty big jock, I played 3 sports in college (soccer, hockey and lacrosse---even though I never really liked lacrosse).
Lacrosse/ Im from Baltimore, Maryland/ i am fun/ I am a steelers fan/ I like beer/
Lots, I'm not an expert in much, but I know a little bit about a LOT of things. There are roughly 750,000 words in the english language. If it was physically possible to hold your eyelids open while you sneezed, your eyeballs would pop out of the sockets. Among most professions, comedians have the highest average IQ, more than doctors, lawyers, politicians etc. As far as obscure, I could literally sit for hours talking about different methods of stringing lacrosse sticks.
Grew up in Seattle, live in San Francisco. Played lacrosse & like to snowboard. Work in tech.
Raised in Washington DC, youngest and only girl of 5 kids, went to Catholic school my whole life, went to college where I played D1 lacrosse, moved to England to coach lacrosse and now I'm in nursing school in Manhattan!
I was born a baby. Grew up in Maryland, went to undergrad on Staten Island and now grad school in Jersey. My friends and family, are my life. I love hockey, baseball, lacrosse, music, and learning about Irish history.
Just about everything about vertebrate evolutionary biology and ancient human anthropology/evolution: sharks, whales, the strangest land mammals extinct and living, dinosaurs, primates, our ancestors and the dead ends, and much about how everything came to be and is related to eachother and when they split. Also, I am an enormous New York Rangers fan, and a New York Giants (2012 Superbowl Champs!!!) fan, I've played hockey since I could stand, and I played football and lacrosse also in high school. I played hockey in college (NCAA Division III, the NESCAC conference, basically it was New england boarding school: PART TWO! haha). I know much about NHL and NFL history. I also know an awful lot about American and ancient/early-Medieval English history, going back to the pagan anglo-saxon germanic myths and legends of the first tribal peoples who settled britain at the fall of the Roman Empire and led to our whole English-speaking world. I can read Beowulf in the actual Anglo-Saxon, The Iliad in Greek, and The Aeneid in Latin. Outside of the kids i took it in high school with (and two friends who went to different prep schools whom i knew from elementary school), I am one of the only people i know of in our age group who took ancient Greek in high school. SO i know the greek alphabet...but unlike most of the idiots who do it's not because i was in some gay fraternity (Frats are for losers who can't make teams).
FIRST THINGS FIRST: I haven't subscribed yet so EMAIL ME at neotom21 at G MAIL dot COM!! if you're interested in any of my date ideas! Born and raised on the Upper West and Upper East Sides; Episcopalian corporate lawyer father, Catholic medical doctor mother, went to school from K-8 on the UES, played youth hockey at chelsea piers, South Orange, NJ, and Stamford, CT. High school split between one year at Fordham Preparatory School on the FU campus in the bronx and 3 years at a fancy boarding school in Connecticut, where I played football, hockey, and lacrosse. Just back home back in the city with the family trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with life next.
I am infatuated with golf, skiing (water or snow), hockey, lacrosse and the great outdoors. Love to go hiking, biking, camping, boating, waverunning or canoeing. I love a crackling campfire under the stars or one in the living room fireplace. There aren't that many good books (despite having thousands in my own personal library) that really grab me anymore, which may explain my need to publish several of the novels tayht are either started or up in my head. Oh yeah... I am infatuated with your gracefulness & beauty whoever/wherever you are! Hey my dreamwoman... How about we? ... grab some Starbuck's?
Born in Seoul, raised in VA, live in Brooklyn. Work at a kick-ass middle school with great teachers and great kids. I also coach lacrosse.
