Ilha grande in Brazil. It's an island between Rio and Sao Paolo. All the hotels on it are small and cheap. You can only get to the beaches from town one of two ways: hiking through the jungle or getting a fisherman to take you on his boat. And every night, everyone comes out to the town square and starts a dance party!
Patagonian, the region not the store. Best hiking of my life.

I spent last summer in Costa Rica and love the beach/sun... but probably the most "awesome" would be hiking in Arizona/New Mexico in national parks in the middle of the desert.
Costa Rica. Or Morocco. I camped in the Sahara for 2 nights. Patagonia. The hike to Lago de los Tres.
The depths of Maine, every year. I can get away from it all, hike up a mountain, and canoe through the woods.
