How about we… attend a local sporting event
How about we… be craven geeks: lots of cool stuff at the World Science festival, which happens all over Manhattan between May 30 and June 2nd. I'm sign up for six events - join me!
How about we… drive, stroll, or hike around Griffith Park for a while and eventually mosey over to the Autry Museum. Check their calendar to if you can catch one of their salsa dancing events.
How about we… go to a random event on Meetup.com in either Boston or Philly.
How about we… grab a drink and talk about current events.
How about we… Try the Italian/Mexican fare at Monsignor's, then walk to Brooklyn Museum of Art for their First Saturdays event.
How about we… check out this new local event and discuss about what we enjoyed!
How about we… Catch an event at the Artisphere.
How about we… Go to a sporting event have some fun and then talk over dinner.

From Upstate NY. Played drums for about 20 years, worked in artist management for about 8 years, and now throw underground events around the city/country.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the original with Gene Wilder. It's a once a year event (at least). Other than that, I will stop channel surfing and watch Shawshank Redemption and Office Space at any point of the movie.
A concert featuring old Disco acts including the Village People. I have to know you better to tell you my dream music event.
i am passionate about enjoying new york; i subscribe to 5 daily emails of free new york city events; favorites are danspace project at st marks; the vision festival; lincoln center out of doors; the fringe festival; messiah sing-a-long at lincoln center; riding over the gw bridge and then looping under and up on the jersey side; williamsburg softball pick up games on wednesday nights; long beach jumping waves, flying my kite and playing volleyball; the stuffed derma at katz's (but not too often because its a fat bomb); the 3 fotos are taken in 2006, 2007, and 2008 respectively; i am in the mideast twice per year on business (saudi arabia, dubai, bahrain)
Food/wine. No matter what happens I find myself planning a day or event around my next fun or exciting meal.
I grew up in a very close five person family. We traveled the east coast of America and a little bit of Germany. Along the way I discovered my passion for creating art that inspires or reaches out to others. Because of these events I am now a person who thrives on strong relationships and artistic expression, and who will never stop traveling or exploring. Oh, and I love cookies!
My parents have this factually untrue story they love to tell. In their version, I wanted to paint my room black when I was 14. Ok, that part is true. Apparently, their response was, "You can paint it black, but you will have to repaint it white when we move." There are several reasons why this is factually and just plain logically incorrect. 1) I would never have been daunted by such a lame threat. 2) This was the first I had ever heard about us moving. I had absolutely no reason to buy into this story. 3) As a 14-year-old, I had virtually not concept of "future," so some kind of vague faraway threat really didn't hold any water. But my parents REALLY like this story. It's the one event in our shared history that makes them look authoritarian...
weird historical events.
First and still best Stone Temple Pilots. Recent amazing shows Kings of Leon, Airborne Toxic Event, Green Day, Julian Casablancas and Coldplay.
