How about we… take a life drawing class together, then get to know each other by comparing styles?
How about we… grab a bucket of sidewalk chalk (and some spiked lemonade) and make a HUGE drawing.

I grew up in Denver, lived in Los Angeles, was bicoastal for 3 years and now I am semi grounded in NYC. I write on a good day, paint and draw and love to engage in interesting and challenging conversation.
An intense but short-lived passion? I don't know that there's anything that I get into that is really short-lived. More often than not I'll get really into something for a while, and then my interest will wane…but then a short time later I'll get back into it again. So it's not really that it's a short-lived passion, but more a steady interest, with recurring cycles of activity. Some of these include, but are not limited to: cooking, baking, drawing, painting, knitting, and dancing. (I'm reasonably good at all of the above, save knitting. I'm rubbish with my needles.)

A New Yorker with a passion for music, eating, design and anything funny. I write a humor blog, and am known for my poignant stick figure drawings. I'm probably the few Australian citizens you'll ever meet without an accent. A few of my favorite things: my nieces and nephews, mix tapes, Spotify, my iphone, Coney Island, bulldogs, good puns, bad puns, my job, karaoke, Cut Copy, Levain cookies, live jazz, Central Park.
A really talented visual artist. Drawings, paintings, maybe huge, phallic, angry sculpture.

Grew up & went to college in L.A., worked in Nor Cal (the Bay Area/ Silicon Valley) for 8 years. Then I moved to New York in 2007 to get a 2nd degree that lets me draw and work more in tactile media. Now I freelance, back in L.A., doing design and illustration, primarily in toys and digital interfaces.
