Fantasy Fiction: Movies, books, festivals or games... as long as it fits into the genre. I will bent quite liberally for SciFi as well.
Me in a nutshell - fun-loving, thoughtful, hard-working, outgoing and energetic. I'm addicted to NPR and yoga, but not at the same time. Here’s a little secret between you and me, I occasionally stop off for cupcakes on my way home from the gym. I mean, if you had Crumbs Bakery on your way home, can you honestly say you’d pass that test? Here are some more of my favorite things: driving, traveling, museums, food festivals, wine, rollerblading, live music, U2, yoga, eating out, swimming, books, football (and futbol!), sushi, arm wrestling and bowling (just kidding about the arm wrestling, but bring it)
Renaissance Festival, books, some board games, and traveling.
Late brunch (or food festival) with friends, museum/farmer's market/beach, whipping up an elaborate dinner for my housemates, and then wine and a good book before bed.
Sleep in, wake slowly, cuddle up/luxuriate, go out to brunch...and then pick some random, spontaneous, joy-evoking activity that strikes our fancy in the moment. Could be anything from checking out a street festival or underground market, seeing a film/performance/band, going dancing, wandering through a museum/gallery/art happening, an off-peak visit to the ocean, random day trip someplace cool, reading books, laying on the grass and talking about what flavor the sun would be, writing hopeful messages and leaving them in unexpected places for people to come across...whatever. Just as long as it feels like 100% play.
Sleeping in, having a perfect cup of coffee while watching Sunday Morning on CBS, walking or biking in the park, attending a craft festival, reading a book by the fire, and sharing it all with a very special someone.
1) Apple - I'm a total fangirl. Not a day goes by without touching my: Macbook Pro, iPad 2, iPod, and iPhone 4. 2) music - shows, festivals, what.cd 3) books - don't have as much time to spend reading as I'd like but when I do read it's usually some counter-cultural fiction 4) art/design - well designed, aesthetically pleasing things makes me happy 5) bicycles - I don't really like driving and try to commute by bike whenever possible 6) Yoga - I practice Bikram Yoga (hawt) at least 4 times a week.
Entertainment - music, movies/TV, books/comics, activities indoor and outdoor, music festivals, etc.
At the beach, reading a book. Or in a park, at a jazz festival. Or touring the city's museums (Delaware only has a few, but Philly has some of the best in the country! I haven't been to The Franklin Institute or The Smithsonian since I was a kid.)
Depends on the time of year. Spring & Summer out and about in Boston going to a festival etc or going for a day hike or playing football. Fall & Winter watching football at home or at a bar with friends, or staying home having a lazy day reading a book by the fireplace.
