How about we… Take a cooking class, Art class or just a long talk at a little coffee shop...
How about we… Go to an art gallery opening.
How about we… I don't drink alcohol but I LOVE coffee, so that's always something to do to get to know someone, and usually low-key. I am a fan of the arts so anything "artsy-fartsy" I enjoy. The art museum has beutiful grounds to walk around on. I'm not picky; just be thoughtful and yourself...we'll go from there.
How about we… help get me into the NYC public art project "Art Takes Times Square" this summer by clicking this link and collecting my work! it's something different to do on a Friday night! I need 10 more "collects" before midnight! thanks and happy dating! http://CatMorris.artistswanted.org/atts2012.
How about we… Art fair in Decatur tomorrow, anybody interested?
How about we… grab a coffee on Stephen Ave and go to the Art Gallery of Calgary.
How about we… hit up Second Saturday for some fabulous art and unparalleled people-watching.
How about we… drink beers, collaborate on some art, and try to make each other laugh with stupid jokes.
How about we… walk around the art galleries in Chelsea.
How about we… meet up at Metropolitan Museum of Art.

First Concert: Church anniversary when I was 9. I sang in the choir. Even without a solo I killed, haha. Dream Concert: Me on vocals, Chick Corea on piano, Art Blakey on drums, Charles Mingus on bass and Miles Davis on muted trumpet doing any piece I wrote that they all actually like and respect. Amazing.
The French Quarter in New Orleans (before Hurricane Katrina). Some of the most amazing buildings, art, stories and history in America.
The short version: Tea. (In the interest of time, feel free to skip forward) The long version: Classical music, lots of other music, European art (especially Italian Renaissance), Japanese culture, cognitive psychology, education & pedagogy, theatre, opera, world travel, NYC, London, Italy, my 3 guitars, sailing, cross-country skiing (dowhnill less so), Ballroom dancing (competitive & social), long-distance cycling (no longer), teaching all sorts of people how computers work, technology, business, strategy, investing, choral & a cappella singing, or singing in various languages I don't know, jamming with people, home-made mojitos, dirty martinis, Campari, cognac, various cheeses, English afternoon tea, the Japanese tea ceremony, and just tea in general. (I offered to skip forward, now didn't I?) These have been my loves over time, with various degrees of attention given to each. However, I am much more single-minded when it comes to female companionship!
Art and photography
Student athlete grows up to enjoy the city life...active playing tennis, golf, volleyball, softball, running, kayaking, horseback riding, etc but enjoy nights in the city at art museums, wine tastings, exploring new restuarants, outdoor movies under the stars, Philharmonic concerts in Central Park, etc...and travel anytime I can! Work'n hard, Play'n hard!

I am originally from the Midwest. I've traveled to some cool places in the world before I saw parts of the Unites States when I was younger. My parents have been a huge influence on my artistic lifestyle. They were into the visual arts, but I love the performing arts. Funny thing about how plans work out, I now doing a lot more producing than theatre. I also enjoy teaching and trying new things that have absolutely nothing to do with art to balance my creative work.
