How about we… Meet up for a picnic in the park.
How about we… meet up at Cafe Intermezzo.
How about we… go to a hookah bar and then grab coffee afterward.
How about we… Meet at Piedmont Park, stroll work up a thirst or appetite and go check out a local tavern!
How about we… go to thrift stores to find the worst/ugliest clothing item.
How about we… DATE.
How about we… meet up for a drink and make each other laugh.
How about we… sit through a random movie and see how long we last?
How about we… chat a little. Getting to know people is fun--but one can only get to know so many people before dating becomes a hobby.
How about we… wrap you in a purple Jeannie dress, throw you on my magic carpet, we travel though the ethereal plains and intergalactic clouds to land in the crowded streets in India and sell pizza together?

Nicaragua. It was where I learned how to surf. One of my favorite places on earth.

After the Wedding
My first concert was when I was a child, the 4th of July, John Phillips Sousa music performance by the Des Moines Symphony on the Courthouse steps - fireworks followed of course. But one that probably counts as a true concert was in high school - Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons at the Municipal Auditorium downtown. We "dressed" for the era with scarves in our ponytails, sweater sets, pearl chokers and circle skirts - campy and fun. I enjoy more intimate settings now, like dinner at Cafe 290 with Joe Gransden and his Band. Or more adventuresome effort would be special travel to a destination where someone I enjoy is performing.
Born and raised in Oklahoma. School at Oklahoma State University. Moved to Atlanta for work in 2008. Love my dog, Jeff, an unhealthy amount.
I grew up in Oregon and majored in psychology at the University of Oregon. I moved to New York for graduate school. I studied art history and library science. Now, I work as an art librarian at a college. I have a cute, scruffy little dog I rescued from the animal shelter and love to take her to the dog park.
I think it's a tie between The Fifth Element and Gattaca. They're both pretty much fantastic.
